From everyone at Kickball, thank you for using our app! We built it to help make summer camp scheduling easier for parents. Because we don't know every one of our users personally, we have to put in place some Terms of Service to help keep things running smoothly.
Definitions
When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to Kickball.
When we say "Services", we mean our websites, including getkickball.com, and any product created and maintained by Kickball. That includes the Kickball mobile app and web platform, whether delivered within a web browser, mobile application, or another format.
When we say "You" or "your", we are referring to the parents, guardians, or organizations that own an account with our Services.
Account Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Services. Our services are intended for use by parents and legal guardians managing their children's camp schedules.
- You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not use our Services for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
Service Model and Premium Features
- Our core service is free for all users. We believe in making camp scheduling accessible to everyone.
- We offer optional premium features that can be accessed through a paid subscription.
- Premium features are supplementary and not required for the core functionality of camp scheduling.
- We reserve the right to modify the features available in both free and premium tiers with appropriate notice.
Children's Privacy and Data Protection
- We take children's privacy extremely seriously and comply with all applicable laws and regulations concerning the privacy of minors.
- We collect only the minimum necessary information about children required to provide our camp scheduling service.
- We will never sell your data or your children's data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes. Your family's privacy is not for sale.
- Parents or legal guardians may request the deletion of their children's data at any time through their account settings or by contacting our support team.
- We do not share children's personal information with third parties except as strictly necessary to provide our Services.
- We maintain appropriate security measures to protect all user data, with particular attention to children's information.
Cancellation and Data Deletion
- You can cancel your account at any time by going to account settings or contacting our support team.
- Upon cancellation, you can request immediate deletion of all your data, including any children's information.
- Without a specific deletion request, data will be handled as follows:
- Account data will become immediately inaccessible
- Data will be permanently deleted from active systems within 30 days
- Backups will be cleared within 60 days
- We have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Services for any reason at any time.
Modifications to the Service
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of our Services with appropriate notice.
- While our core service remains free, premium feature pricing may change with 30 days notice.
Copyright and Content Ownership
- All content posted on the Services must comply with U.S. copyright law.
- We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the Services.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services without express written permission from Kickball.
Liability
You expressly understand and agree that Kickball shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.
